The Yukon Wolf (Canis lupus pambasileus), also known as the Alaska Black Wolf, the Alaskan Wolf, and the Interior Alaskan Wolf, is a subspecies of the gray wolf, Canis lupus, and is found in Yukon and surrounding territories. It has been the subject of an ongoing population control program in Yukon since the 1980s.
